We Still Have Holiday Party Dates Open

October 26, 2026

For anyone who has just been handed the company holiday party and is worried the good venues are gone.

If the holiday party landed on your desk this week, you are later than you would like to be, and you already know it. Our Fridays and Saturdays in December are fully booked, and the same is true at plenty of other venues.

Late does not mean out of options, though. We still have dates, and this post lays out what’s left and how to get it booked this week.

‍

The holiday party dates we still have

Fridays and Saturdays in December are fully booked. We still have some availability on Sundays and on weekdays, and we have weekends open in January.

If you had your heart set on a Saturday night in December, we understand. The two December options left are both worth a proper look.

  • A Sunday. It still feels like a weekend occasion, and a lunch or an early dinner gets everyone home at a reasonable hour before the work week.
  • A weekday. It does not compete with anyone's weekend plans, and it pairs well with an afternoon meeting if you want to get more out of the day.

Or hold your holiday party in January

Some companies skip December altogether and throw their party in January. Once you look at the calendar, it’s hard to argue with them.

December is a traffic jam. Your team is squeezing school concerts and family dinners around year-end deadlines, and the company party turns into one more evening everyone has to find a babysitter for. By January, those same calendars are wide open and nobody has looked at a cheese platter in weeks. A night out with good food and the whole team in one room suddenly feels like a treat instead of a chore, especially at a time of year when the most exciting thing on most people’s schedule is their recycling day.

It also solves the date problem. We have weekends available in January, so the Friday or Saturday night you actually wanted is back on the table, no compromise Tuesday required. You get a few extra weeks to plan, and the party can double as a kickoff for the year ahead. Think of it as the holiday party’s well-rested sequel.

Here’s How the Night Plays Out

Picture this. It’s dark by five, there’s snow on Mount Cheam, and your team is walking into a room with a fire already going. That’s the general idea.

If you’re bringing the whole company, the Events Hall gives you room for up to 200 guests under 14-foot vaulted wood ceilings. The big rock fireplace does a lot of the decorating for you, and the floor-to-ceiling windows look out over the mountains and the river, so even the people who swear they’re only staying for one drink tend to stick around.

Smaller teams usually end up in the Lounge, and honestly, they get the cozier deal. It’s 936 square feet with a fireplace and its own bar, which means nobody has to wander far for a refill. Mount Cheam fills the window, close enough that it starts to feel like part of the guest list.

You can take a closer look at both rooms on our meeting and event spaces page.

All the food at your party comes from our own kitchen. We don’t allow outside catering, which sounds like a rule until you realize it means one less vendor to chase, one less invoice, and one team handling everything from the first canapé to the last plate. Our holiday menus cover canapés, a lunch buffet, and a dinner buffet, and you can browse all of them on our holiday parties page before you decide how hungry your team is going to be.

If you’d like the night to be about more than dinner, we can add activities like axe throwing. Nothing builds team spirit quite like finding out who in accounting has a surprisingly good arm.

Your Room Is Closer Than the Parking Lot

We can sleep up to 47 guests right here on the property. That won’t fit a party of 200 (we’ve done the math, and nobody wants to share a bed with the CFO), but it does cover the folks with the longest drive home and anyone who would rather end the night in slippers than behind the wheel. You can take a peek at the rooms on our accommodations page.

For everyone else, book a shuttle early. December is their busy season too, and since there’s limited rideshare out here, having a ride lined up before the party starts means nobody is left scrambling at the end of the night. Just ask and we’ll point you to a local service we trust.

Clock Out at Noon, Party Till Close

Book a weekday and you unlock something a Saturday night can’t give you. Bring the team out in the afternoon, wrap up the year-end meeting, and then stroll down the hall to dinner. It’s the shortest commute anyone in the office will have all year.

Our Conference Room seats 30, and it’s about as far from the usual boardroom as you can get. There’s a fireplace to warm the room, and the cedar walls are finished with carvings, so even the budget review feels a little more bearable. Bigger group? The Events Hall can handle the meeting in the afternoon and then turn into your dinner venue once the laptops close.

Your Pre-Inquiry Cheat Sheet

Good news: you don’t need a full plan to hold a date. You just need four things, and rough guesses are completely fine.

  • A headcount, even if it’s a range
  • A couple of dates that could work
  • Lunch or dinner
  • How many people might stay the night

No budget yet? Go ask leadership for a number today. It’s a five-minute conversation now, and it saves you from becoming the person refreshing their inbox in late November waiting on approval.

Once the date is locked in, everything else can wait until November. Our earlier post on when to book a corporate Christmas party walks you through what to sort out each month, so you’re never doing it all at once.

Let’s Get Festive

December books up in the order people ask, so the sooner you reach out, the more dates you’ll have to choose from.

You can send us a corporate inquiry or give us a call at (604) 796-1210. And if you need to win over your boss first, our holiday brochure puts everything in one place, ready to forward.
