Job Listings
Cook
Your role would be varied including working breakfast, lunch, and dinner shifts. You are a valuable member of our kitchen team. Once you are trained up you will be able to work independently while maintaining high standards.
Responsibilities
- Follow the prep list created by chefs to plan duties; this includes hearing and understanding specific instructions from Chef
- Banquet prep cooking
- Lunch and dinner cooking
- Pack-to-go meals
- Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces etc.
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines
- Perform other kitchen duties as assigned
Requirements
- Proven experience as a cook
- Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen
- Valid Food Safe Certificate
- Must be a team player and have great communication skills
- Ability to work alone.
- Can handle being under pressure while staying calm
- Able to lift and carry 50lbs
- Understanding of proper food rotation and storage
- An understanding of dietary restrictions, food allergies and an ability to create meals accordingly
Housekeeper
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized environment for our clients. Your attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills will contribute to creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Perform general housekeeping duties, including but not limited to dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, and showers
- Clean and disinfect kitchen areas, including countertops, appliances, and dishes
- Change and launder bed linens and towels
- Collect and dispose of trash and recycling
- Organize and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment
- Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate supervisor
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines and company policies
- Maintain confidentiality and respect clients' privacy
- Assist with other household tasks as needed
Requirements
- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products and techniques
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness
- Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects (if required)
- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and discretion
- Valid driver's license
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Digital Content Specialist
We’re looking for a talented Digital Content Specialist to join our marketing team at Fraser River Lodge. If you’re passionate about social media, storytelling, and building engaging content, this role is for you. You’ll play a key role in enhancing our brand presence and driving engagement across platforms. This is a maternity leave coverage position, offering you the opportunity to step into an established role and make an immediate impact. - Social Media Strategy: Develop and implement strategies that align with our marketing objectives. Stay informed about trends, algorithms, and platform updates.
- Social Media Management: Oversee the lodge’s presence on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Content Creation: Create high-quality content (written, photo, video) for all social channels. Capture the spirit of Fraser River Lodge with engaging visuals and copy.
- Videography & Video Editing: Produce and edit videos for campaigns, reels, and stories.
- Photography: Capture moments that highlight our lodge’s scenic views, events, and guest experiences.
- Copywriting: Write compelling captions, posts, and marketing materials that reflect the lodge’s voice.
- Graphic Design: Collaborate with designers to produce eye-catching visuals for campaigns and promotions
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in social media management and content creation
- Proficiency with tools like Later, Adobe Suite, Canva or CapCut is ideal
- Knowledge of SEO best practices for content
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field is an asset
- Experience with Google Ads and press relations is an asset
- Passion for hospitality, nature, and connecting with diverse audiences
