We came across this lodge on a resort ad, and at first discovered it was a "fishing" resort. However we stayed in one of the new Bison suites and it didn't disappoint, even though we didn't use it as a fishing resort. It came with an amazing mountain and river view, along with some actual Bison! Rooms were very spacious and clean, with very good privacy. It is very clear that the ownership pays very close attention to detail. I'm sure the fishing is great, but this hands down is an amazing place to get away and relax. Even if you are looking for a romantic getaway. We would strongly recommend this to our friends and family, and if in the area again we will likely try and stay here. Thanks to Frank and staff for a wonderful experience.

Stayed the Bison Suite - the views are fantastic, the hot tub relaxing, and enjoying time with my way better half. When things go wrong, that is what sets apart these people - we didn’t have hot water, we weren’t looking for “compensation”, just to get it working the next day so we could shower. They fix it right away and then came back a few hours later with a hand crafted apology card and complimentary one night stay. We were blown away, can’t wait to come back that is for sure.
We stayed here for our anniversary. We got the bison suite and it was amazing. Really clean and spacious room, with a hot tub on the balcony. The best part is that you can see bisons, donkeys and chickens from the balcony. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place and definitely will come back in the near future.
Was looking for a quiet place in nature to stay while visiting family in the area. When I walked in and saw the view I knew I had come to the right place. I was in the Bison suites, which I would describe as simple luxury - well-appointed without being too busy. Enjoyed my stay tremendously and will definitely book there again.
