The Pink salmon has invaded our Fraser River in numbers close to the 30 millions and most of our guests has daily limited out the last couple of weeks.
We catch these small fighters on spinners, jigs and flies...

Fly fishing for trout & salmon has been very exciting these last 2 weeks. The local wilderness rivers has produced lots of action both on fly and spin.
Some of our guests went on Heli-fishing and flew high up in the river system where our jet boats normally can not go up and the result was amazing with big trophy bull trouts...

Salmon fishing is ON - The Spring's are IN...
And it's getting better day by day. The river is dropping slowly and making it easier to fish these magnificent fighters who can empty your reel with 200 meter of line in just 30 seconds... The average size of these fish is 15 to 25 lbs and we we have already landed the first ones rounding the 30 lbs.

This week we had one of the best days so far in our 2011 sturgeon season. All our boats out got many and big sturgeons all ranging from 3 to 9 feet.

This fishing report is not your ordinary fishing report, but a statement of a father and son fighting a monster sturgeon, perhaps the largest sturgeon on the Fraser River for 4 hours and 25 minutes before losing the battle against nature.

Sturgeon fishing has been fair to good despite the fact that the mighty Fraser has risen more than 12 feet over the past week or so.

Sturgeon fishing has been the strongest in years, considering we are talking about the month of March. We have found sturgeon in very "interesting" areas this year and are looking forward very much to welcome you as a fishing guest in order to catch some BIG sturgeon

The sturgeon season has opened very strong, in fact we have landed this week more large sturgeon than ever before this time of the year. The fish are very strong for their size.

The winter seems to have gone by, the sun is up and the sky as blue as it gets. The snowline has moved into higher mountain regions and our bison enjoying the first days of real sun without any wind.

What can we expect this year? Will we have the same insane salmon year with more salmon than ever? How is the sturgeon population making out? How many more big sturgeon are we are going to catch in the Fraser Canyon in 2011?

For all of you who did not know, I have sold half of the company to Patrick from Denmark and Jeff from Luxembourg. Both have traveled the world in order to find the most challenging fish species on various countries and continents and both ended up here - at the Fraser River Lodge

The early cold weather spill has vanished with temperatures above the freezing point in the valley and beautiful white snow in the mountains.
