Wilderness Fishing
The Upper Pitt has been fishing great as there is a large run of l bull trout coming in. We offer daily charters into this beautiful river system. Perfect for the fly enthusiast as well as the spin fisher. Our best day was last week cacthing over 20 trout with most of them in the 4-5lb range. Stunning!
The Lillooet River will be out of commission for the next 2 months because of the large snow melt and after that we will again offer daily charters into our “home river”.
Fraser River Sturgeon Fishing
Sturgeon fishing on the Fraser River has been consistant over the past weeks and we expect it to stay that way until the beginning of December. The water levels are still on the rise due to the early heat wave we are currently experiencing. This is some of my favourite time of the year to fish for white sturgeon out of the main current in back eddies and back waters as well as calm stretches of the Fraser River. All of our sturgeon fishing charters take place on the quiet part of the Fraser River, upstream from our lodge with no crowd, hardly any other boats, just nature and us – and we like it that way. We soon move our sturgeon charters into the rugged Fraser Canyon, where daily trips take place during the summer months. That means you can mix up your sturgeon fishing adventures where we fish the main stream Fraser River plus the Fraser Canyon.
